I think Autodesk is taking a page from the car manufacturers book. I’ve just spotted AUTODESK.AUTOCAD.V2009.WIN64-ISO and AUTODESK.AUTOCAD.V2009.WIN32-ISO in the wild. Maybe I have spoken too soon as I don’t even see it listed on the Autodesk website. Could it be that this is an actual non-beta copy? Only time will tell… :hmmm:
Edit: After doing some research it appears that it may be real. In the past 4 years Autodesk has released a new version in March/April. This would fit with the current release as the Scene normally gets a copy prior to the ship date. In addition, they are implementing a new ribbon menu structure similar to that of Office 2007. This is exciting news as the Office 2007 ribbon menu is fabulous once you get used to it.

Be careful, the x-Force versions are RIPS. You will need to put .Net, Flash, DirectX etc libaries in place before it will work. Look for a FULL version if you really need this sucker….:)
Even fully working 2008 libraries are not good enough for the new release….
