I have just updated the scene release rules page with a few additions and a link to a text version of the document in case anyone wants to copy/paste sections of it. The image is still the default as this is how the NFO should be viewed.

What is Spotify?
Spotify is a new way to enjoy music. Simply download and install, before you know it you’ll be singing along to the genre, artist or song of your choice. With Spotify you are never far away from the song you want.

Basically its a really neat program that allows you to instantly stream music legally and for free using a combination of server and perr to peer based technologies. It’s only available in a few countries and with an invite currently. According to Microsoft there are 2.5 million keys to go around worldwide. Microsoft is also providing a QFE patch for the MP3 corruption issues that have plagued build 7000 as KB961367. It’s extremely important you apply this patch as you may lose parts of your MP3s if the patch is not applied. 32bit and 64bit patches are now available.
While this method worked the first time for me many other have reported that it is not working for them. Post here if you cannot get it working and someone should be able to generate a key for you.
To go with the software that was released yesterday by Engine, they now have a proper crack for it.

The nuke in this case is not saying the release doesn’t work but its not an actual ISO. This version should still work until there is a proper release for all of you out there that want to have this right now.
As a note many people are having problems just before it actually installs it says please insert “Photoshop CS4 into drive”. To fix this simply copy the installation files to the hard-drive and install from there.
I decided that I would give Windows Live Messenger Beta a try today since it is fairly far along in the beta cycle now.
The first step is to download the public beta client from the Messenger Beta homepage. When I was installing it, it told me that it failed to install WLM and gave me the option to try again. I tried again and each time it downloaded new things, eventually installing WLM successfully. Odd, but it’s a beta right?

After exploring it a bit there are some aspects I don’t like.� Namly, advertisements.� This is where A-Patch comes in.� I downloaded the newest A-Patch.� After installation of the A-Patch, no advertisements and the interface is a huge improvement.
A member of the pioneering warez group aPOCALYPSE pRODUCTION cREW (aPC) has been jailed for 18 months. Barry Gitarts, also known as ‘Dextro’, was sentenced after he was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Copyright Infringement. Thus far, there have been 15 convictions of aPC members.
aPOCALYPSE pRODUCTION cREW (aPC), was thought to be first organized ‘warez‘ group to coordinate the pre-release uploading of mp3s to the Internet. Founded in 1997 by members known as acid^rain and Viper, aPC’s forté was the pre-release of music CDs which they obtained from music industry insiders and magazine workers. The group was raided as part of Operation Fastlink.
According to evidence presented at his May 2008 trial, Barry E. Gitarts, aka ‘Dextro’, operated and financed a server based in Texas which was used by aPC to store thousands of music files, movies, software and games. The New York resident was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Criminal Copyright Infringement.
On Friday, Gitarts, aged 25, was sentenced in Alexandria federal court to 18 months in jail for his role in aPC.
Another ex-member of aPC, Jacob Stahler, aka Lunatik, was on the witness list at the May trial, and there has been speculation that he testified against Gitarts. Stahler himself was also convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Copyright Infringement, but was later sentenced to just 2 years probation.
So far there have been a total 15 criminal convictions of aPC members, including that of Mark Shumaker of Florida (aka ‘MarkAlso’), a previous leader of the group who already admitted criminal copyright infringement back in 2003.

I thought it would be neat to be able to sync my Google calendar with my outlook calendar so I did a quick search for a program that would help me do this. I found that Google actually has an application built for this purpose. It’s conveniently called Google Calendar Sync.
This program is very easy to use. Simply download the application. Once it’s installed, you are met with the following screen:
In the Settings window, enter your email address and password and select the Sync Option you prefer. Read about each Sync Option.
You’ll also be able to set the time interval for syncing to occur. Please keep in mind that 10 minutes is the minimum time interval allowed.
After the initial set-up, you can access the Google Calendar Sync Settings window again by double-clicking the calendar icon in your Windows System Tray.
Installation is simple as that.
One important thing to note is that if you have multiple calendars set up in Google, it will ONLY sync the default calendar. In addition, there currently is no way to change your default calendar. This means that I had to copy all the information from my secondary calendar to my default for it to synchronize properly. After this change its been working flawlessly.
